Polymer preparation and supply system

Tomal Polyrex polymer preparation and dosing station.

Polyrex is a two-tier station for preparation and processing of liquid and solid polymers.

The polymer preparation station consists of:

- feeding sections (vacuum conveyor - for feeding powdered polymer, screw pump of the "eccentric" type - for feeding liquid polymer);

- mixing sections;

- Two two-tier containers made of stainless steel (the upper container is equipped with a stirrer);

- Siemens PLC S7 computer system

Powdered polymer is fed for mixing using a vacuum conveyor and mixed with water using a mixer, then delivered to the upper preparation (ripening) tank. The finished solution is dosed through the valve into the lower tank from it and the finished solution is supplied. In the case of using liquid polymers, the system switches to the use of a pump. The entire preparation and dosing system is controlled by a Siemens PLC S7 computer system.

This system was produced in 2003-2007.

The system consists of:

Polyrex 1 for liquid polymers, Polyrex 3 for liquid polymers, Polyrex 4 for powder polymers + additional large volume hopper, Polyrex 4 dual purpose (for liquid or powder polymers) and Polyrex 4.5 for powder polymers.
